www.patient.co.uk - one of the most comprehensive health care gateways on the internet. Access over 700 leaflets on health and disease and find information for nearly 2,000 patient support and self-help groups across the UK.

www.netdoctor.co.uk - find information about a wide range of health issues; includes a useful health encyclopaedia.

www.library.nhs.uk - an expert source of detailed information about conditions and their treatments. Intended principally for use by clinicians and care practitioners, the National Library for Health is from the NHS and provides one of the UK’s main sources of health information; a useful tool for searching for accredited health information.
